6 Retailers’ New Years Resolutions To Stay Ahead

This holiday season customers spent about 628 billion dollars in brick and mortar stores. As the holiday season ends there is no better time for retailers to set goals and get ahead for the coming year.  Here are a few tips and tricks to get ahead!

2. Ask customers to review your store

According to a survey by Zendesk, 88% of customers have been influenced by an online customer review when making a buying decision.” Ensure that you have review pages set up on Google My Business, Yelp and other local directories. Incentivise customers to leave reviews by offering loyalty points, gift cards, or discounts.

3. Get all your products online

With people spending so much of their time online it’s crucial for your store to have a robust web presence. Customers that might shop or eat at one store might not know about yours.  These events create a fun buzz around your store and help get you connected to the community.
