What a great evening recognizing our GHS Top Ten Seniors at the Ottawa County Top Ten Banquet! It’s always so wonderful to celebrate our young men and women and hear about the impact their honored educators have made on their lives. Congratulations students and educators!

Students in sixth-grade ELA worked with peers to develop a menu using figurative language to describe their delicious meal options. Mrs Rofkar and Mrs Witt set up a nice restaurant in the library. Students then visited each table and “ordered” from every menu.

Recently, Sixth grade students began to unravel mysteries and engaged in learning about Ancient Egypt! While learning, they built sugar cube pyramids to help understand the architectural achievements of the Ancient Egyptian civilization.

Sixth grade students in Mrs. Lucas’ Science classes just finished a "phase change" project...making Ice Cream! They studied solids, liquids and gasses and how molecules are attracted, arranged and moved in each state.
